Database Tweaks and Update Notice
As mentioned previously nearly every JJ has been updated. If you have a JumpJet kicked off your mech on bootup, then you need to see the update kiosk.
Starter mechs have updated version inside their vendor instead, pick up a fresh copy of the starter mech and attach the new Jumpjet.
The database values for airspeeds for mechs have been set to initial baselines. Depending on how this plays out in the field we will tweak these values further. Currently mechs have a speed range going from 13m/s to 27m/s roughly. Our fastest non-strife air mechs can cross the sim edgewise in about 9 seconds of gliding edgewise, 13 seconds if going from corner to corner.
Also, since Susalia has been asking about it patiently the goblin and raptor now have a groundspeed that isn’t minimal, I mean they are technically hovering even on the ground if you look at their animations.
