Project Eclypse!!
Project Eclypse is a new class of mechs that fit into the ongoing story line behind MCM. They were created out of a top secret project on Colandra IV with the specific purpose of of turning back the Throgs 2nd invasion. Below is a list of technical specs on the Eclypse project.
1) Eclypse mechs are level restricted and will NOT boot up if you are not level 50 or higher in either the bio or tech trees. 2) Eclypse mechs feature a regenerating energy shield that will provides a small buffer of HP making them a bit harder to kill them normal mechs. 3) Eclypse mechs are hard locked they can only use the weapons that come on them, however these weapons are typically more powerful then tech or bio equivalents. 4) Eclypse mechs use a new damage type called "Pulse wave" there is no resistance to this type of damage for techs or bios. 5) Eclypse mechs damage modifies to all damage types +20% to Energy, +20% to Ballistic, -20%(yes negative) to Explosive. -10% to Acid , -10% to Chemical, -20% to Sonic +10 to Melee, +10% to Dot, +10% to Stun/Scramble 6) Eclypse mechs have an Over Drive which is a new type of movement enhancer. Think DAAC on steroids! (Activated by pressing crouch to turn it on and off) 7) Eclypse mechs mods are approved with a more strick rule set (Find a mod if you plan to mod your mech)
